Shakespeare in the Dirt

One classic play. Two actors. Five cameras. One wolf. One wrestler. One singing Elvis hockey goalie. One field of dirt. Put these elements together and you have the slightly warped vision of two documentry filmmakers. Shakespeare in the Dirt is at once a behind the scenes story of two men struggling to put together a documentry and also a live performance of the Shakespearean classic, Hamlet. It is an experiment in distraction and a peek into the absurd as we look at the classic play in a whole new light.
